Why can't I login?
If you can't login make sure there are no white spaces in your email and very importantly your password. By copying and pasting your password from an email it might happen that you accidentally copy and paste white spaces.
The password you get from us has exactly 10 characters, so if you are not sure if you copied white spaces, count the characters in your password field.
If you type in your password, check to see that all letters are correctly upper-case or lower-case, check that your caps-lock key is not turned on.
How do I make a good post?
To make a good post you just have to consider a few things.
Write whole sentences and not just a list. Its more interesting for the users to read and helps for a good automatic translation.
Make logical paragraphs.The most important information you should give in your description:
- 1. Information about the neighborhood (how long does it take to get to the center, is there good transportation like buses, are there bars around or is it a silent and family neighborhood)
- 2. How much are the extra costs such as monthly bills.
- 3. or more detailed information on google map, enter the name of the street where the apartment is located, not just the neighborhood.
- 4. For reasons of security we do not recommend you write your personal email address in a post, since it can be read by spammers.
- 5. Last but not least. Add some photos. You increase your chance exponentially.
How long will my post stay online?
Your posts will stay online for at least 60 days.
My post has no Google Map shown
This can have 3 reasons:
- 1. You forgot to add the name of your neighborhood.
- 2. You spelled the name of your neighborhood incorrectly.
- 3. Occasionally it happens that Google Maps has problems recognizing the neighborhood temporary, but it will recognize it later.
In this last case just leave it and try one day or a few hours later to edit your neighborhood. Log in with the password we sent you. Go to the section: My posts. Click on the edit link and then just press the submit button. Go to the listings page and click on your post. If the google map is still not shown, then your neighborhood will not be recognized by google.
